  • The length of a fractional project management contract varies depending on the needs of the client and the scope of the project. Fractional project management contracts can be on a part-time or fixed term basis and are typically between 3 and 12 months long. This gives the project manager enough time to get to know the client team, systems and processes, and to develop and implement a project plan. It also gives the client enough time to see the benefits of working with a fractional project manager and to extend the engagement if desired.

    Some clients choose to engage a fractional project manager for a short-term project, such as a website launch or product launch. Others choose to engage on a longer-term or retainer basis to provide ongoing support with project or program management.

  • Project fees are tailored to the specific needs of each client and are offered on an hourly, per diem or retainer basis for ongoing project management support. An estimate is provided after project scope and requirements are discussed in the initial consultation.

    I am proficient in popular project management tools such as Trello, MS Project, Asana, ClickUp, TeamGantt and Jira, as well as internal homegrown solutions. As a certified ClickUp Expert and software implementation veteran, ClickUp is my preferred task management tool due to its high customizability and versatility.

However, with 15+ years of experience on operations, delivery and product teams I’ve established a network of trusted developers, engineers, marketing experts, UX designers, and QA specialists whom I love to recommend and collaborate with.
